As we approach the 2009 Christmas season, parents everywhere are trying to decide what to give their children this Christmas. There are many new hot items for Christmas this year. Your children may know about these items, but they may not know about them. You can also buy presents for your kids to encourage them to read or learn about other topics besides the latest video games and barbie dolls. Here is my opinion on the 10 best Christmas gifts for kids in 2009.
1. Amazon Kindle Does your child love to read? Do you want to encourage your child to love reading? This is a great way to give your child a gift that they will love, and it encourages them to read too! New ebooks are being written for the Kindle everyday, and existing books are being converted to the new digital format of books everyday.
2. Tickle Me Ernie Younger children will love all of the tickle me stuffed animals from Sesame Street. This is the perfect gift for young children who watch Sesame Street.
3. Quirkle Board Game This is one of the hot newer board games this Christmas. This is a great game for kids and adults, and it is recommended for kids at least six years old.
4. Baby Einstein Takealong Tunes This is the top toy for babies up to 24 months old. Many babies will love this toy this Christmas.
5. Crayola Glow Dome This new toy brings your kid's drawings to life! This toy recently won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal award for its unique creativity. Kids that love drawing will love this gift.
